Google’s ‘leanback’ will start in July/ Hulu on the playstation – the battle for the TV audience!

Google TV will start its new service ‘leanback’ already in July 2010. This is the first real step of Google into the television market. Hulu wants to be part of Sony’s playstation, which also is a strategy to show internet videos on the television in the living room. This also opens the door for new revenue models and real global campaigns. Everything is backed by a new market study by US-researcher Comscore.

Report: Broadcast growth to outpace overall economy

Broadcasting revenue in 2011 is projected to grow 11% to 15%, and outpace the estimated U.S. gross domestic product increase of 3.8% to 5%, according to M.C. Alcamo & Co. In an interview with the German newspaper bild, web-guru Jeff Jarvis talked about the future trends in the internet, print and tv. Germany’s largest private TV network sells news channel N24
